I fished with a Greys Prodigy 12’ rod and a Shimano 3500 reel loaded with Maxima Chameleon 4lb line.
The float was a 0.6g Drennan Crystal Waggler.
The hook was a Drennan Super Specialist size 14 with two maggots.
The water was three feet deep at one rod length from the bank and I fed brown crumb and loose maggots.
As it was close in, I was able to throw out a sloppy mix of crumb.
