I was fishing a lake and intended to have an hour or so.
It looked promising when I saw a small pike following the lure, especially so when it started to snap at the imitation fish.
Unfortunately though, that’s as far as things got.
Then I had a second pike, again about 1lb in weight, track the lure as it edged towards the bank.
On this occasion, it didn’t even make an attempt to connect with a potential snack.
