As it worked out, I had action all the way with a constant dipping of the float and fish on the bank.
Although there’s a perch in the lead image, it was the only one of the species that I caught.
All the others, of which I lost count, were roach.
A very enjoyable session indeed and a sign of things to come once I reduce my working hours.
