It was my usual mini-jigging approach, with a 0.7g jig head and a 2” rubber fish.
I started off by dropping the bait in the clear margins and showing how the lure reacts in response to the movement that you make on the rod.
I did the casting for her and then handed the rod over, so she could retrieve the rubber fish herself.
Considering it was weedy, she did really well and got the hang of it immediately.
We didn’t catch anything, although we were there for just forty minutes.
