With woodland, brooks, a lane and meadows, mine is pretty decent.
It certainly ticks the boxes for me, that’s for sure.
However, it doesn’t have to be rural. Your local patch is whatever you have in your immediate area.
It could be a park, a small group of trees, a playing field or even just the urban area where you live.
Obviously, you have to be careful where you’re pointing your binoculars when people are around but the reality is that you can still bird there.
