My All-Time Wolverhampton Wanderers Legends – Stan Cullis (3/5)

Sadly, good things often come to an end and, in 1964, the club and the manager parted ways.

It really was the end of the greatest era in Wolves’ history.

The legacy of Stan Cullis lives on though, with a stand named after him at Molineux and a statue outside the stadium.

My very first Wolves game was when Cullis was still the manager, in 1962.

I have a sense of pride when I know that, albeit towards the end of that great side, nevertheless I have personally touched and connected with Molineux history.
