It’s been a different Saturday today and with no football game until tomorrow, there’s been no travelling or even post-match work from a Friday fixture.
Therefore, enjoying the beautiful day, it was nice to walk to Baggeridge Country Park with Debby, Nyah and Dilwyn.
It’s another place that’s on our doorstep, so to speak, and it’s another pleasant walk through woods to get to the centre.
It is quite ‘commercialised’ these days and that’s not a criticism.
Just that I remember the area when there were no buildings, shops, playground or attractions.
In fact, when there was no country park.
