A Change Is As Good As A Rest – A Morning Session On The Staffordshire/Worcestershire Canal

It was a chilly start to the day, although no ice scraping, as I’ve been doing recently.

I fished in four to five feet of water in a narrow section and dropped the bait into the boat channel.

There was colour in the water, indicative that the boat traffic is now on the increase.

During the winter months, you can go on a number of sessions without seeing anyone on there, and consequently the water is often crystal clear.
