The flowing water coarse season (technically, it’s more than just rivers) is now coming to an end.
My final visit has been on a small brook in pursuit of three-spined sticklebacks.
It was a frosty start to the day, with ice on the car windshield that needed scraping before I could begin my journey.
It was just a short session, as my stickleback outings are, which suits me anyway when I have a busy day ahead.
