The New Saints FC got their JD Cymru Premier second phase off to a great start, with a 2-1 win at Flint Town United.
It didn’t look that way in the first-half though, as the hosts could quite easily have been 4-0 to the good.
It’s extremely rare to witness TNS on the back foot in domestic competition, especially for a whole half.
Usually it’s the advanced stages of European football when you see that.
It came good in the second-half though, with quality goals from Jordan Williams and Danny Davies.
