As I hinted in this morning’s video, I was going fishing later in the day and that’s exactly what I did.
It was raining heavily when I set off and I didn’t have too long, but the conditions don’t bother me, and as long as your bait’s in the water you have a chance.
I was float-fishing a local pool that’s just three minutes away by car. That’s exactly what you need when you fish as much as I do.
I caught roach, perch and pike – in that order of appearance.
I did well to land the latter as it took me into a branch that was in the water, courtesy of the recent storms that we’ve had.
