Yesterday was the first day of the year that I haven’t been fishing.
It’s not an issue though and that’s exactly what I mean when I refer to the difference between a passion and an obsession, as I so often do.
I’ve been in Cardiff and Newport and never even thought about angling.
There were a couple of pools near to where I was on Saturday afternoon and when The New Saints’ photographer, Brian Jones, arrived at the ground he said he thought I might have gone fishing first!
