Although officially JD Cymru Premier MD19, the game between Cefn Druids and The New Saints was actually the 21st of the season for both clubs.
The postponed festive period schedule means that the numbers are slightly jumbled at the moment.
In a bottom versus top encounter, like last week’s fixture at Park Hall the former were certainly up for the challenge.
They also went into the break level as well, this time courtesy of a very late equaliser at the end of the first period.
Like last Tuesday though, The New Saints stepped up a gear in the second forty-five and secured the three points in a 4-1 victory.
Goals from Declan McManus, Jordan Williams, Blaine Hudson and Ryan Brobbel ensured that they were spread through the team.
Brobbel also got three assists as well, certainly the standout performance and statistic as far as I was concerned.
Talking of stats, it was TNS’ eighth win on the bounce in the league.
With results elsewhere going our way, the lead at the top has now been extended to twenty-one points.
There’s more in the video below, which consists of the clips I record for The New Saints’ social media plus my own slots.
This was my 47th game of the season and there’s more here.
