I sat down in the stand at Park Hall just over a week ago, chatting with Alex Denny, as he signed for The New Saints FC,
This time, I interviewed the midfielder on the pitch, following the 3-1 victory against Connah’s Quay Nomads.
In from the off, Alex played the full ninety minutes of the game.
He was very composed, and slotted in so well it looked like he was making his fiftieth appearance, never mind his debut.
I said to him afterwards, the next interview is when you score your first goal!
