It was good to sit down with Alex Denny this week after training, in one of the stands at Park Hall.
We chatted about his time at Everton, during which he also played for England at U17 and U18 levels, including the 2017 UEFA U17 European Championship final.
He lined up alongside the likes of Phil Foden and Callum Hudson-Adoi – who both scored against Spain.
Then it was Salford City and Morecambe next, before moving to Welsh football with The New Saints.
He’s still only 21 as well.
