The two latest additions to my football memorabilia collection – which is from my own personal journey in the beautiful game – come courtesy of Keston Davies.
Currently at The New Saints, the defender was previously with Swansea City and Fulham, as well as Notts County and Yeovil Town on loan deals.
He’s also represented Wales up to, and including, U-21 level.
I knew he had a shirt for me, as he had told me in advance. It was a very pleasant surprise to find out though, that there two, in fact.
You can watch the video, where he signed the items below.
I like Keston and get on well with him. That is a big factor when you’re in media and you’re working with players.
In addition, not just with Keston but others as well, that relationship has seen me add numerous brilliant items to my collection.
Back to the man himself though, after The New Saints had played Viktoria Plzeñ, the players swapped shirts.
When we arrived at Prague airport, ready to fly back home, Keston gave me Adriel Ba Loua’s shirt, that he had been given.
Things like this mean so much to me and the great thing about my own collection is that every item has a personal story behind it.
Thank you Keston.
