I do follow the weather forecasts but not to see whether I go fishing or not, rather where I go and what approach I take.
Today’s session, lure angling on a local lake, was in fog, although that did lift while I was there.
I didn’t go to bed until well after 1.00 a.m. so I just thought I’ll see how it goes.
I was still up less than six hours later though and fishing within thirty minutes.
That’s the beauty of local waters. Less time in the car and more on the bank.
