The New Saints’ head coach, Anthony Limbrick, said to me recently about getting Chris Seargeant to do the occasional post-match interview.
As assistant manager, you never get the same media opportunity as the boss, so it’s good for them if they can do the occasional chat.
As the club had beaten Bangor City 4-0 in a pre-season friendly, I suggested to Anthony it would be good for Sarge to do the interview this time.
He agreed and that’s exactly what we did, on the Park Hall pitch following the final whistle. Watch the video.
