Conflict With Cormorants And A Morning Canal Session

I didn’t do a blog entry when I went fishing yesterday but I refer to it in the video that I recorded while on the bank this morning.

I was up early, which with a busy day ahead of me, was necessary if I was going to do some fishing.

I’m in a busy stage at the moment, both with work and home. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel for both.

There are just five games to go until the end of the football season, and next month my old house will be on the market, and not requiring daily visits.

For now, though, I’m glad just to be able to get some fishing in. Watch today’s video.

I fished with a Greys Prodigy 12’ rod and a Shimano 3500 reel loaded with Maxima Chameleon 4lb line.

There was 5 feet length of 2lb 8oz Ultima Virage fluorocarbon joined by a loop-to-loop knot.

The float was a 0.6g Drennan Crystal Waggler. The hook was a Drennan Super Specialist size 18.

I fished the boat channel, with brown crumb and mixed maggots and single white maggot on the hook.
