Even though the lockdown restrictions have been eased, I’m still pretty much fishing the Staffs/Worcs Canal at the present time.
I’m busy with work and home, so free time is limited. As long as I can get out though, even if it’s just for an hour or so, I’m happy.
You can follow the latest session via the video I recorded at the water’s edge.
I fished with a Greys Prodigy 12’ rod and a Shimano 3500 reel loaded with Maxima Chameleon 4lb line.
There was 5 feet length of 2lb 8oz Ultima Virage fluorocarbon joined by a loop-to-loop knot.
The float was a 0.6g Drennan Crystal Waggler. The hook was a Drennan Super Specialist size 18.
I fished the boat channel, with brown crumb and mixed maggots and single white maggot on the hook.
Welcome To My World, welcome to my website. There’s more on the home page and you can comment via the guest book in the menu.
