Football-related travel has been limited in the last month or so, due to lockdowns across the UK.
It was good though, today, to pay a visit to Burnley’s training ground for a game with The New Saints.
I enjoy the travel opportunities that football affords me, and even though I’m on a team bus, nevertheless there is still plenty to see as we drive along.
From my home in the wider Wolverhampton area, I drove to Oswestry, then on the bus to Wrexham, Chester and Liverpool, where we collected players, before eventually reaching Padiham.
The short video below starts in Cheshire and ends at the training ground itself. It’s about enjoying the journey, not just the destination.
