Once the final whistle had gone at the Deeside Stadium, and Scott had done his interview with S4C, we chatted for The New Saints FC’s media platforms, as we discussed the 2-0 defeat against Connah’s Quay Nomads.
It was quite windy and that comes through on the recording. We only have an old iPhone though, so it’s a case of working with what you have.
Yes, it would be nice to be in an environment with proper equipment, and I always love it when that happens, but you just get on with it and do your best.
Even the stand that you can see in the lead image is an old music one from church that wasn’t being used. I taped a selfie-stick (from a pound shop) to it and that’s how the phone is supported.
It works though and at this level, it’s often about improvisation.
