1.30 p.m.
The heading says it all and there’s more, as always, in the video below. Suffice to say, I’m back on the reservoir that has featured in three recent blog entries, and I’m very much looking forward to the next few hours.
You can check out the aforementioned posts here where the tactics, tackle, approach etc can be found. Look for the reservoir entries.
The lead image is from the last session, rather than just the wide expanse of water that has featured in the three previous entries. Let’s go!
2.00 p.m.
It is a working reservoir and there’s been some pumping since my last visit. One hundred acres and the level has dropped two feet – that’s a lot of water on its way to people’s taps.
3.45 p.m.
It’s been very quiet but I am very much aware that all the perch have come late on in the sessions. Plenty of time yet to get one on the bank.
4.00 p.m.
As I was saying!

5.10 p.m.
A few small perch followed, just tiny fish though. Ended with a nice sunset. Being an angler puts you at the very heart of creation.
