The day before a UEFA game, the teams train on the pitch, and this evening (Tuesday) it was The New Saints who prepared for the final time, ahead of the match itself.
I always enjoy the final session as it means the big game itself isn’t far away. I’ve been to the stadium – which is where the Faroe Islands national side play – before.
It was my first UEFA Champions League game with The New Saints, in 2015, so will always have very special memories.
A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then but you never know where life’s journey takes you.
