My one and only visit to John Lennon airport It had not been named after the former Beatle then and was known as Speke airport) was not to fly but to watch the aircraft alas in the time of my visit only two planes took off one going to Dublin and one to the Isle Of Man. Pre Covid business had increased. Not sure if it is a jumpoff for KLM flights. If it is it is possible my eventual return to Uganda via Amsterdam may be from here?
