While Brook Fishing, Sharing Some Thoughts And Tips On Blogging

Now that the 2020/2021 football season is beginning to stir into action, I’ve got another behind-closed-doors friendly this afternoon.

Let’s say it’s one that I’m really looking forward to but more of that in due course. For now, it’s a short session on a tiny brook, in pursuit of three-spined sticklebacks.

I caught twenty-one fish in total, so it was certainly a successful trip. As well as footage from the angling itself, I also share some tips and thoughts on blogging.

I also came across a common toad on the brook. That was great to see and I captured some brief footage of that in the video.

The tackle I fished with was as follows: Poachers Pocket mini-rod and reel.

Reel line was 4lb Maxima Chameleon, leading to Ultima Virage 1lb 6oz fluorocarbon, joined by a loop-to-loop knot.

I nipped a size 4 shot on the line and the hook was a Drennan Super Specialist micro barbed size 18. Bait was a single white maggot.
