Following the TNS FC victory against Bala Town, I interviewed Scott Ruscoe. It was raining outside, so we looked for somewhere suitable indoors. This time round we occupied the corridor by the home team changing room.
When you do a post-match interview you look for key moments or obvious talking points to bring into the chat. In this case, the Bala Town penalty (that was saved by Paul Harrison) and the first clean sheet after 13 consecutive games of conceding at least one goal, were the two that came to mind.
Most post-match interviews are very similar in the sense that you ask pretty general questions so anything unique is what you’re looking for.
