The New Saints FC’s pre-season campaign continues to march on, this time a 3-1 victory against Cardiff Metropolitan University FC at Park Hall, ensuring the 100% start to 2019/2020 is still intact.
On the way to the game I collected Kurtis Byrne and took the opportunity to kick the video off with a chat in the car. Kurtis played for a number of teams before joining The New Saints, including Dundalk, where he featured in the impressive UEFA Champions League run they had a few seasons back.
Then, to close the video, there’s an appearance from Simon Spender, who in his career has represented Wales up to U21 level. I was waiting to do some post-match interviews after the game and Spends and Aeron Edwards happened to pass by as I was doing my own recording, so naturally the former got involved!
He really is very funny and just in case you may be thinking otherwise, his comments about Greg Draper are all in jest!
